After much searching and trawling through Google results, I finally decided that none of the blog utilities, tools and full blog applications meets my requirements for my personal website.

This means I need to actually develop my own blog system. This is good news, it just means I am going to take much longer getting this website (or the blog section of the site) complete.

I have an optimistic outlook, I think I will have this blog completed the the middle of February 2018.

Now if you would excuse me, I have a blog to create.

[UPDATE 19/12/2008: This post was made when I didn’t trust tools like WordPress and I still had enough spare time on my hands to develop my own PHP based blogging solution. It kept me going for a few months before I went web quiet (as I tend to do for long periods). When I finally returned to blogging WordPress was the only reasonable choice.]
